Who operates the school

Free Tax School is operated by Taxaroo, 30 N Gould St, Suite N, Sheridan WY 82801. You can contact us at support@freetaxschool.com.

Information we collect

When you request a free course or book, we collect your first name, email address, state when requested, the page that sent you, your selection, and the consent shown with the form. When you request a workbook or another free resource, we collect your first name, email address, selected resource, request source, and the exact consent receipt. We record the time and version of each consent. When you contact support, we collect the message and topic you submit. Our systems may receive basic request data, such as an IP address, for security and audit purposes.

For paid enrollment, we collect your first and last name, email address, state of residence, residence statement, Terms acceptance, selected course, price, order status, and the Stripe identifiers needed to match payment events. Stripe collects the billing address and card details. Free Tax School does not store a full payment-card number on this site.

How we use it

We use your information to deliver lessons and books, email the private time-limited link for a requested resource, avoid duplicate deliveries, honor opt-outs, maintain course access, process payments and refunds, respond to disputes, answer support requests, prevent abuse, keep required records, and improve the school. We use your state and the billing address returned by Stripe to enforce eligibility because we do not currently enroll California residents.

Email and your choices

The checkbox beside each email form authorizes the delivery and Free Tax School updates described there. Commercial messages include an unsubscribe link. You may also ask us to stop by emailing support@freetaxschool.com.

Service providers

We use Cloudflare for hosting, form and order records, private file storage, and Turnstile abuse prevention. We use Resend for email delivery and Stripe for payment processing. CourseBox hosts the separate learner classroom. Turnstile receives request and browser signals, which can include an IP address, to decide whether a submission is legitimate. Each provider receives only the information needed for its role.

Sale and disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when the law requires it or when needed to protect the site and its users.

Retention and security

We retain course, consent, purchase, suppression, and support records only as long as needed for operations, legal obligations, and honoring opt-outs. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can promise perfect security.

Cookies and analytics

The public site is designed to work without advertising cookies. If privacy-respecting analytics are enabled later, this policy and the site notice will identify them before use. The separate course platform may use essential cookies for sign-in and access.

Your rights

Email support@freetaxschool.com to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your information. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You can opt out of email without losing a purchase you already made.

Children and changes

The school is not directed to children under 16. We may update this policy as the course platform and service providers are connected. Material changes will be dated here and communicated when appropriate.
