The deal, in plain English.

Last updated July 23, 2026. These terms govern your use of Free Tax School. By purchasing, enrolling, or requesting a resource, you agree to them. Email support@freetaxschool.com with any question.

What we are

Free Tax School is an independent online education provider operated by Taxaroo, 30 N Gould St, Suite N, Sheridan WY 82801. We are not affiliated with, approved by, or endorsed by the IRS or any government agency. Our courses provide career preparation, not IRS-approved continuing education, California CTEC qualifying education, or a government credential.

What you get

You receive the free email course or resource you request. Each paid checkout page states the product, access method, included materials, support boundary, price, and refund policy before payment is accepted. A course page also states its completion and certificate terms. The Tax Practice Launch Kit purchase covers the named release shown at checkout and does not include future releases.

What we don't promise

We do not guarantee a job, clients, or any amount of income. What we stand behind is the quality of the training itself. Paid courses explain the IRS PTIN registration process, but you register directly with the IRS.

Payment and refunds

The email courses, books, and public workbooks require no payment. Each eligible paid product includes a 7-day refund period stated at checkout. Email support@freetaxschool.com within 7 calendar days of purchase to request a refund. Stripe's payment terms control the payment method and processing time. A successful refund or payment dispute ends future access to the related course and private file library.

A card payment may be authorized before it is captured. We may cancel an authorization when the order, price, email, residence statement, billing address, or consent does not pass the checkout checks. A canceled authorization is not a completed sale. Your bank controls how quickly a released authorization disappears from your account.

Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract to purchase or enroll. Free Tax School does not currently accept paid purchases or enrollment from California residents. This is the school's delivery policy. Its courses do not satisfy California's CTEC qualifying-education requirement for nonexempt paid preparers. This policy does not mean California residents cannot receive general tax education elsewhere.

Acceptable use

Course emails, accounts, and resources are for the recipient. Do not resell access or copy and redistribute course materials. A Tax Practice Launch Kit license covers the named buyer and one tax-practice business controlled by that buyer for internal planning. The buyer may download, print, and complete copies for that practice, but may not resell, publish, sublicense, distribute blank copies, upload the files to a shared template library, or use the kit to train unrelated businesses.

Liability

We provide the courses as-is and do our honest best to keep them accurate and current. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us. Nothing here removes rights you have that can't be waived.

Changes to these terms

If we make a material change, we'll update the date above and, when appropriate, email enrolled students. Continuing to use the school means you accept the current terms.
